The famous man who I admire is the former president No. He was a president of Korea in 2003 to 2008. Before he became the presidents he was a lawyer(attorney) of human rights and he fought against dictatorial government aside from that he was appointed by president Kim who received a Nobel prize for peace in 2000 as minister of fisheries and oceans. After his term, he ran for the presidency and was elected as president in 2002.
The reason that I choose him as respectable
person is that he was really confident and he had a strong sense of duty about making better society in Korea. And he divested himself of president’s privilege and tried to
communicate with people. in order to improve democracy. of Korea. Furthermore,
he tried to reform the media and press for freedom of them and he made a great
effort to break corrupt relationship between governments and business men. Because
of those kinds of his activities, he gained a lot of opponents, but he did not
allow them to affect his convictions.
I learned about morality and justice
through him and lots of Korean still respect him. So I pick him as person who I
admire. I really miss him.
